Patrick Mackenzie - Striped Bass in the Napa and Petaluma Rivers
Born and raised in Sonoma, Patrick has had the pleasure of fishing Northern California from the Pacific coast up to the Sierra Nevada foothills… and everywhere in between. As anglers, California has an abundance of fisheries, but the waters of the San Francisco Bay and its tributaries will always be his favorite. His passion for the sport of fly fishing is something he enjoys sharing with others and the journeys he takes with clients make every day on the water new and exciting. He is in constant pursuit of making memories and teaching through the sport of fly fishing. The essence of that experience is why he gets up every day before his alarm. Specializing in striped bass in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Strategies and techniques in shallow water with specific tips and tricks on how to fish the Napa River, Petaluma River, San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge, and Carquinez Strait.
