Due to popular request, we will conduct a ‘Shooting Head’ clinic for our membership this Sunday, Apr 24, 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Marin Civic Center Lagoon (on the island, near the Veteran’s Auditorium Box Office) This will help prepare those who’ll be going after Shad on the Lower Sac, American, or Yuba rivers, or Striped Bass in the Delta. We’ll supply plenty of gear, but participants with a 7 wt or 8 wt rod, and an integrated shooting head like a Rio Outbound, or even just a 15’ to 25’ sinktip of T-8, T-11, or T-14, outfitted with loops on the ends, is encouraged to bring them.
